Senior Animals make up some of our best Adoptions! |
We want to highlight the benefits of adopting Senior dogs and cats over 6 years old to our adopters! We want folks to know how incredibly special these guys can be. They can be the perfect companion!! They are generally more settled and easy going. Some of our happiest adopters, took in a senior dog or cat from us!

Interested in volunteering? |
|
We are always
happy to have new volunteers join us, helping to care for our dogs and
cats! If you would like to volunteer or want more info please fill out our Volunteer Application.
We are working hard to match up Volunteers who
are able to commit to a weekly scheduled visit. Our Volunteers are trained so that they can truly maximize their time with us each week - few things are more fulfilling than spending time with our canine and feline guests, and helping to keep their surroundings clean and comfortable. You'll be amazed to see how much you can accomplish during a visit!
Unable
to commit to a schedule? We would still love to hear from you and have
many volunteering opportunities available - please contact our Volunteer Coordinator Pam Crowe in order to learn more.

Foster Parents for Pregnant Cats/Kittens Always Needed |
|
Each
year the shelter takes in approximately
30-40 stray pregnant mom cats, and hundreds of kittens too young to be
put up for adoption. Unfortunately, the shelter does not have the space
to house these mothers and kittens until they are ready for adoption.
Baypath is committed to helping these animals out. We are, therefore,
asking you to help us out. Depending on the age of the kittens this could be a three month committment. You will not be disappointed. This is a fabulous experience and a huge help to a small shelter like Baypath.
