We are always happy to have new volunteers join us, helping to care for our dogs and cats! If you would like to volunteer or want more info please fill out our Volunteer Application.

Exciting news - our application process is now electronic!  You can access our application right from Baypath's home page.  We are working hard to match up Volunteers who are able to commit to a scheduled visit (Weekly is wonderful, every other week is workable as well) with a Staff buddy, who will get them up to speed.

Each year the shelter takes in approximately 30-40 stray pregnant mom cats, and hundreds of kittens too young to be put up for adoption. Unfortunately, the shelter does not have the space to house these mothers and kittens until they are ready for adoption. Baypath is committed to helping these animals out. We are, therefore, asking you to help us out. Depending on the age of the kittens this could be a three month committment. You will not be disappointed. This is a fabulous experience and a huge help to a small shelter like Baypath.
