Palmer

palmer_002.jpg  Here you are some pictures of Palmer. He is the most gentlest and loveable animal. He loves his morning walks and playing fetch in the afternoon. I just need to remember not to keep chicken on the kitchen counter! Yep, he almost had a tasty treat the other day... we still love him and think he is the cutest thing... as you can see from his pictures.  He is so good with people and so affectionate. He sits when told, comes when he is called, and stays right by my side.

Thanks again and tell everyone at the shelter that they were right.... he is an awesome dog.

Madison (aka Ethel)

madison1.jpg  We adopted Madison (Ethel) from Baypath. Thanks to my sister who had pointed her out, we just instantly fell in love with her. Madison (goes by Maddie) is just an angel and a sweetheart. From the day we got her she just brought so much joy and love into our family. She loves going to the dog park and on long walks. She can be scared of new people and loud noises. She loves to give us kisses and sniff out anything being a beagle/hound. Her grandpa calls her "dog sniffing." She goes to work one day a week with my sister to her office. She fit in right way with my parents 3 little american eskimos, Kasper, Daisy, and Maya.
Thank you Baypath for giving us our angel!  More pics below!

Sadie (aka Blanche)

sadie.jpg  This is Sadie (aka Blanche). She came home with us on March 18. It was love at first sight. She is beautiful. She is well behaved, great on a leash, and she is so smart! She loves everyone she meets, including kids, other dogs, and cats. We are so happy to have her as part of our family. We are grateful to Baypath, the entire experience was great, their premises were clean, their staff friendly and helpful. Sadie is happy in her new home, and all of us thank you!

Luna (aka Lulo)

luna1.jpg  Luna (Lulo) was a shy 10-year old, 3-legged Bichon when we got her. Now she's as happy as can be - always wagging her tail and barking when her people get home at night! She gets to go for a walk every night and cuddles with her new family. She has a new sister, Crouton - a 3 year old Yorkie mix. They are getting along beautifully! Luna sleeps right next to the bed every night in her own little bed. She LOVES rawhide bones and chasing Crouton around the house. Luna is a wonderful addition to our family - thanks Baypath!! Ellie (& Rosie)!

Just El.jpgEllie has made our family complete. She is an adorable mix of a ball of playful energy and the sweetest cuddle bug. She is very smart and has learned our family routine and some basic commands easily. She adores her sister Rosie and looks up to her. She observes Rosie and has learned a lot from her. We love Ellie soo much, from the way she rolls into a ball on our laps, to her bounding around the house and the way she mumbles all night in her sleep.
She is adorable and we are blessed to have her. Thank you Baypath for our two amazing girls!  More Pics Cont. below!

We are extremely happy with Bailey and thank the people at Baypath for doing such a great job.

Buddy (Enew)

enew.jpg  We adopted Buddy (Enew) from Baypath in June 2010. My husband and I had been looking for a dog for almost four months without any success. The moment we saw Buddy we knew that he had to be part of our family. He is always happy and loves to go for walks and play catch in the backyard.  It is a great feeling to come home after a long day and be greeted by him and his kisses! We want to thank Baybath for taking such good care of him while he was there. It is so nice to know that there are places out there that are dedicated to helping animals find good homes. Buddy has brought such much joy into our lives and we have never been happier! Thanks again!

Soon they will all be snuggling up together on Maisy's bed for sure. The presents for Maisy seem to be flooding in from everywhere, friends, family, and neighbors. She is getting more than I am. Soooo jealous! We will send pictures soon.

Corona

coro.jpg I want to thank you so much for my wonderful dog that I adopted from your Baypath Shelter 4 months ago. She has brought so much joy and love into my life and and is doing so well in her new "forever" home. I bring her to work with me every day, and she is a delight to have around. She loves people, and people love her right back. I would highly recommend to anyone considering adopting a pet from a shelter to follow your heart and give a deserving animal a new home and a new life. I'm so very happy and grateful that I did.   Virginia

Sadie

sadie_smiling.jpg Well, 9 years ago when Sadie was at Baypath, her profile said she was a sweetie and she really is. She is, without a doubt the best dog I've ever had!
I wouldn't trade her for anything. Sadie has been my best friend in the world, I hope I'm hers too. She is spoiled, too and I don't care. Got more blankets than I do, even made her a coat by hand.! Thank you Baypath for bringing Sadie to me! Sandi

We adopted Aida recently. I wanted to pass along a picture of her snoozing in her bed. She didn't snooze for too long though! She seems to be adjusting really well and has only had one accident in the house so far. We are already all smitten! Thank you so much for adding such a slice of joy to our lives! We will send more pictures as she gets bigger!

Turbo (Tenor)

IMG_5466.JPG  I just wanted to tell you how happy we are with the newest member of our family, Turbo (formerly known as Tenor).  We adopted Turbo on July 20th and have been loving having a dog back in our lives again.  He is playful, happy, mellow much of the time, and quick to learn. After the first night, he has been sleeping in his crate for 8 hours straight over night-no accidents, no crying.  He is enjoying his new yard and family and has been getting to know the other dogs in our neighborhood. Here is a picture in one of his favorite spots in the yard-in front of the stone bunny!  Thanks!

Boomer (Rory)

boomer.jpg In April of 2010 we adopted Boomer (aka Rory) a Rottweiler, Black Lab &Blue Tick Coonhound mix from Baypath. Our experience with the shelter was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better setting for a rescued pup to come from and nicer handlers! Boomer came home with us the same day and has been thriving ever since! He is such a playful happy pup now that he is in a safe & loving home. Thank you Baypath for rescuing our little guy, we are so thankful to have such a well mannered and smart addition to our little family!

Emmet (Slick)

emmet.JPG In March, 2007 we went to Baypath looking for a
dog. We found a five month old puppy named Slick.
Slick had come from Indiana and was the cutest
dog ever! We changed his name to Emmet. We
did not his birthday but knew his birthday month,
November. So we decided to pick out of the hat and
got November 14. He was a small black lab with
a white chest and toes. Emmet loves kids and all
the other dogs. He is well behaved and loves to go
on walks. Emmet is three years old now and has
been great with our family. Thank you Baypath!!!

Rusty & Griswald

Rusty and Griswald on couch.JPG I've been wanting to write you and update you for some time, but have been trying to get good pictures of our wonderful dog (Rusty) and cat (Griswold-formally known as Jonas), adopted from you last September.  The two are wonderful, and fast friends.  We can't believe that Griswold was surrendered for not being good with other animals!
See attached photos.  Rusty and Griswold play together like two dogs (Gris never extends his claws or bites), they sleep together, and would eat out of the same bowl (if we didn't know that dog food isn't the best for cats).  He is an incredibly friendly cat; very affectionate. Rusty is just all dog.  Sweet and game for anything.

Thank You
Linda

Harley

photo.jpg You placed Harley with us back in 2005, and we are finally sending you a photo of happy Harley in her new life, with a permanent home at last.  She is the little shepherd mix who kept returning to Baypath, when the seniors who had her went into housing and again when her 2 year old human became allergic to dogs.
Harley goes for long walks at state parks every day and visits seniors and schools to everyone's delight. She is a cherished member of our family.  Because you took good care of her, and believed in her,
Harley now cheers up a lot of people and has made our home a happier,
more playful place. She has even rescued runaway dogs.

Thank you, Baypath.
Deborah

Callie (Sadie)

IMG_0518.JPG I just wanted to send a note of thanks to you and the wonderful staff at Baypath. You were all so friendly and supportive during our recent adoption of Callie, and it made the process so positive for me and our family.
Callie is doing so well and has definitely stolen our hearts. She is the snuggliest, most affectionate puppy and loves everyone she meets. Her tail goes a mile-a-minute when she sees us, and she flips over on her back for an instant tummy rub! :)  .....
