We picked up Cowboy on February 17, 2008. He adjusted very well to his new home, behaving like a perfect gentleman. Cowboy loves living in Marblehead, where he enjoys the time he spends with his many dog-friends. He goes to Brown's Island, the beach, Steer Swamp, Crocker Park and Fort Sewall. Cont. below

The dogs are getting along great and playing together alot! Tommy has slowed down on his eating fast. He hides durning thunder storms. He does like chasing the cats some times. He seems to be doing it more as for fun. Lola seems really happy! Tommy is loving life at our house!
They are getting along great, maybe too good! They were
playing at 4:00 this AM, waking us up! See more pics in the Cont. below section.

I have attached a picture of our wonderful Baypath dog, adopted with
the name Steele and re-named to Sid. He is such a wonderful dog, and
is living such a great life! We live on a dead end road, where he is
always outside playing with the neighborhood kids (he even walks them
to the school bus in the morning!), and chasing butterflies!!!
Everyone we meet makes mention of his gorgeous eyes!!!
We cant
thank you all enough for taking good care of Sid before we could adopt him!!!
Take care, and thank you again.
Kind regards,
Jessica

We adopted Lucy from Baypath in June of 07. She is a
beautiful German Shepard/Golden Retreiver mix. She was a bigger size
dog than we were looking for but after we had seen her floppy ears we fell
in love with her.
We brought her home and she was 8 months old. Cont below....

 Hi all at Baypath,
It's been just over two weeks since my husband Eliot & I adopted Hogan & Dundee, and they're settling in to our home very well. We wanted to thank you all so much for the care you took of these two puppies while they were with you, and your help in our adopting them. They are the sweetest dogs, and although they are new to living in a house (stairs, and th
eir own reflections in glass windows, among other things, were interesting experiences for the first couple of days!), it's clear they aren't new to being loved by people. They have so quickly become part of the family, and are having a blast now in their new......

I am sure you doooo! I wanted to write and say hello! I know you named me

The Ya Ya Story
My husband and I always wanted
a dog. We were moving to our new home
and realized that the time was finally right. We put a lot of thought into what
we wanted in a dog. We were not breed specific but we did know that we wanted
an adult dog and not a puppy. At the end of this past summer we stumbled upon
an adoption event in Pelham, NH.
We thought that we might just "look" around and see what types of
dogs were looking for a home. Turns out, a dog was looking for us....con't in Read more..

 Hey there,
When Adopting Monty from you about a month ago you asked for us to keep you updated about him and send some pictures. I'm almost as good as the dog at doing hat I'm told. :)
First off, we changed his name. After many hours of debate he was almost named Rufus. Somehow we wound up with
Hunter. So Hunter it was. ...con't in read more below....

Hello to all at Baypath Shelter (especially Katie !!),
Jasmine
(we kept her name) is a wonderful addition to our family and is
settling in more every day ! She thinks that our 2 cats (Sammy and
Dino) are two tiny dogs. She has learned to adjust her behavior in
order to be closer to them (she'll lay down to watch them and then she
sniffs and sometimes gently licks them)...

It's been a while since we adopted Strider , so we
thought you might like an update on him . He's a beautiful dog , we could not have asked for a better one , he just loves people & is a great family dog. We have not seen an angry side to him at all . He has gone camping this summer & he has two golden Retreivers next door to us that he just loves to play with. We don't really know what his true breed is but he's a wonderful mix. People ask us if he's a ...

We adopted Tala on Saturday the 19th. She has settled in nicely to her
new home. She is bonding with everyone in the house, especially my
daughter. We started obedience classes Saturday and know that she will
do fine. She does love to be with people and does not want to be left
alone at all. As you can see, she is already being spoiled.
Thank you for her, she re ally is a love and we are very glad to have
found her.
Best Regards,
Sandy

Stormy is very happy in her new home with my wife and I. I have never seen a
dog that runs as fast as her. My backyard is large and fenced in so she is
allowed to fun full tilt and she LOVES it.
She has adjusted very well and gets plenty of exercise and TLC. She is a very
happy dog. She even appears to be smiling in some of the pictures.
Thanks again
Peter

Dear Baypath,
I wanted to give you an update on Honey Dew, who I
adopted earlier this year. Honey Dew is such a sweetheart
and has become such a wonderful member of my family.
Honey loves attention and still loves lots of belly rubs
which she recieves all the time. After a few weeks of
crate training she has become fully house trained. She
loves running around the yard hunting crickets in the
grass but mainly loves to be on the sofa or bed getting
snuggles. We are all very happy!
