In May 2007 (a little over a year ago) we adopted a male tan chihuahua mix from you shelter by the name of Thomas Jefferson. Since then we have fallen in love with him and frequently wonder what we did without him!

It's been just over two weeks since my husband Eliot & I adopted Hogan & Dundee, and they're settling in to our home very well. We wanted to thank you all so much for the care you took of these two puppies while they were with you, and your help in our adopting them. They are the sweetest dogs, and although they are new to living in a house (stairs, and th eir own reflections in glass windows, among other things, were interesting experiences for the first couple of days!), it's clear they aren't new to being loved by people. They have so quickly become part of the family, and are having a blast now in their new......

Hey Blair - just wanted to give you and the rest of Baypath an update on Traveller.

He is doing absolutely wonderful!  He was a little tough the first few weeks, although he could not be in a better place for patience and love.  Now with almost a month here he is starting to really blossom. He loves....  

The Ya Ya Story

My husband and I always wanted a dog.  We were moving to our new home and realized that the time was finally right. We put a lot of thought into what we wanted in a dog. We were not breed specific but we did know that we wanted an adult dog and not a puppy. At the end of this past summer we stumbled upon an adoption event in Pelham, NH. When Adopting Monty from you about a month ago you asked for us to keep you updated about him and send some pictures. I'm almost as good as the dog at doing hat I'm told. :)

Hello to all at Baypath Shelter (especially Katie !!),

Jasmine (we kept her name) is a wonderful addition to our family and is settling in more every day ! She thinks that our 2 cats (Sammy and Dino) are two tiny dogs. She has learned to adjust her behavior in order to be closer to them (she'll lay down to watch them and then she sniffs and sometimes gently licks them)... 

It's been a while since we adopted Strider , so we thought you might like an update on him . He's a beautiful dog , we could not have asked for a better one , he just loves people & is a great family dog. We have not seen an angry side to him at all . He has gone camping this summer & he has two golden Retreivers next door to us that he just loves to play with. We don't really know what his true breed is but he's a wonderful mix. People ask us if he's a ...

We adopted Tala on Saturday the 19th. She has settled in nicely to her new home. She is bonding with everyone in the house, especially my daughter. We started obedience classes Saturday and know that she will do fine. She does love to be with people and does not want to be left alone at all. As you can see, she is already being spoiled.

Thank you for her, she re ally is a love and we are very glad to have found her.

Stormy is very happy in her new home with my wife and I. I have never seen a dog that runs as fast as her. My backyard is large and fenced in so she is allowed to fun full tilt and she LOVES it.

She has adjusted very well and gets plenty of exercise and TLC. She is a very happy dog. She even appears to be smiling in some of the pictures.

Hello! We adopted a puppy from you on August 12th. His name was Jelly Fish and he is now called Kirby. We thought you would like to see a recent photo of him. He is doing great!
