Molly |

Hi Baypath,
I just wanted to thank you all for taking me in and allowing me to find my new people. My name is Molly (AKA Button Motors). You allowed me to go to a nice home with Bob and Lucy one beautiful Saturday in October of 2007. I was a little nervous at first, but these people seemed really nice. I met my new neighbors and they told me I had hit the lottery and didn't even know it!
I had a new big brother, Dusty, who showed me the ropes and watched over me until he left me this February to go to Rainbow Bridge. I have a great home to live in, its warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I always have plenty of food and water, tons of toys and a great yard with plenty to smell and explore. My favorite pastime is to take long naps during the day and wait for my people to take me for walks and go down by the water, did I tell you I live on a lake! I love to go for rides in the boat, swim and fish yes fish! I just wanted to tell you all thanks again, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have this great life, well it is time to take a nap again. Thanks again

Mungo (aka Bubba) |
Hi Everyone,I've attached some pictures of Mungo (Bubba), who we adopted about a week and a half ago. He is doing so incredibly well and seems so happy. He's a lot more playful than anticipated and we couldn't be happier. We brought him to the vet yesterday who, like so many others, commented on what a fantastic dog he is, especially considering all that he's been through. We just love him so much! We'll be sure to drop off the supplies that we borrowed as soon as we get a chance.

Thanks again,Debbi and Derek

Rosie |
Rosie is doing amazing! She loves her training classes and showing off her new skills. Rosie is very smart and takes pride in knowing the ins and outs of our routine. She is also getting over most of her shyness around people, due to the family and friends that adore her. Rosie came to us when we were grieving the loss of our Silky. She has since filled our hearts with a lot of love and happiness.
She loves to play and knows that when I get home I will change my shoes and take her for a walk, so she greets me and heads right for them! At night she cozies up to us and asks for a tummy rub. We have become a happy little family. We love her to pieces and are so happy that she is here with us.
Thank you! more pics below!

Kirby |

Hello Baypath!
We would like to report that our puppy Kirby, who we adopted from your shelter 2 years ago today, is doing very well. He was a bit sick when we got him but we nursed him back to health, put him on a raw food diet and even moved to give him his own yard! He is an amazing boy. We are so lucky to have him. Thank you!
Here is your original listing
(Jelly Fish, Baby, Curly-Coated Retriever Mix, Male):

What a difference!
Again, thanks so much for saving him! We hope all is well at the shelter.
Take Care,
Eli, Rachel & Kirby

Red |
I adopted a 3 month old Staffie last year from baypath, and well I figured it was time for a thank you/ update letter. We kept her name but shortened it to Red now. When my staffie of 8 years passed away in March of lung cancer unexpectedly, it was pretty hard to deal with the loss.
I had her since she was a pup and losing her so unexpectedly was rough. So
around August I decided I wanted to get another Staffie. I went to
Baypath because you folks were local, and after visiting the website I
fell in love with the litter of puppies that had just arrived from Iowa.
I remember reading their names, Little Miss Muffet, Little Bo Peep, Little
Jack Horn, and Little Red Riding Hood. I remember my first visit and just
playing with the bunch, how much they reminded me of my previous dog,
Madden. I remember picking Little Red up and she began licking my face.
That's when I knew she was the one. After fostering her for about a month
the adoption finally went through and well she has now been the best companion. Red has passed her first obedience test. I am working with her to eventually take her CGC test in hopes that one day she can be a therapy dog and show people that it's not about the breed it's about the owner and the love
and affection you8 show your dog, the better more disciplined dog they
will be. Nothing can ever replace my Madden, but Red reminds me everyday
of her by always being loving, playful, and goofy at times. I have read
the letter that was posted by Little Jacks owners (now named Guiness). I
too would like to see the rest of the littles and maybe have a family
reunion.
Thanks,
Miguel

To All My Friends at Baypath, I can't believe it's been 3 years since I was adopted and wanted you to know that I truly am one of your success stories, thank you. I love to go for a "ride" and I go everywhere with my parents in the truck or car. I helped Papa build a new house in Wolfeboro, NH where we sometimes go and I visit Emma, a yorkshire terrier that lives two houses up the street. Mama takes me to see her cause I hear her barking for me in her backyard and I answer her to let her know I'm visiting cause she's so cute and just crazy about me. Cont. below!

Emma! |
Like the vet said - both Emma and we hit the jackpot. We LOVE her!!!!! She is just perfect (beside the fact that five minutes ago she decided that the grilled salmon on the counter looked just too good to pass up.... our fault, though, shouldn't leave food out accessibly in the open, right????), lovable, loving, SMART!!!!, and the best dog ever! Thanks for all your efforts!
Best regards,
Emma, Annie, Bob & Beate

We adopted Jesse on January 12th of this year. He has been such a good boy from day one and we have never seen a dog who loves been around people as much as Jesse does. He adjusted to our family and friends so fast and we love him so much. Jesse loves car rides, long walks and treats. He is a very happy dog and he loves to sleep on our bed and cuddle with us every night.

Riley (aka Bitsy) |

Just wanted to send an update on Riley (aka Bitsy) who I adopted in April 2009. For the first two weeks she was really shy and would just follow me around the house and wasn't really interested in playing. That has completely changed. Riley is a sweet and playful puppy who loves to snuggle and needs lots of attention! She has tons of energy and her favorite thing to do is to go to the dog park. Cont. below!

Rocky |
We wanted to let you know how Rocky is doing. Rocky is the first dog our family has ever had. It's a big adjustment, learning how to take care of a dog but we can't imagine a more wonderful dog than Rocky. From day one he was house trained, crate trained, a great walker, well socialized with other dogs, a good eater, had great manners, didn't bark and just made us smile a lot. He even loves going to the vet. Our only problem is everyone who meets him wants to take him home! Whenever we walk him people see him, smile and introduce themselves to him. Wherever we go people pull biscuits from their pockets to feed him. He loves to chew, although he's done no damage to the house except for one TV remote control he confused with a chew toy. Please see the attached pictures. Thanks for all the great work you do and introducing us to Rocky!

Sesame (aka Addie) |
I would like to let you know that Sesame (aka Addie) is doing very well since we adopted her on 5/31 about 1.5 weeks ago from Baypath. She is playing and following my older dog (12 yr old), Java, everywhere. It's sometimes a bit too much for Java but he enjoys Sesame's company most of the time. My daughter and all the neighbors' kids love her. They often spend a long time in our yard after school patting Sesame. We are so impressed on how calm, gentle, and sweet she is with all the kids' running and hugging. story cont. in link below!

Lucky (aka Max Rat) |
Here is our story about our boy Lucky aka "Max Rat"Lucky found us last August and we have decided he's the best dog on earth. He has some abandonment issues, severe at first but with time, patience and a lotta love we'll get though it together. We love the way he wags his little docked tail when he sees us and always gives me a kiss everyday when I get home from work. At first we didn't think he knew any commands but after doggy training classes he knew them all!
Thank you for bringing our Lucky dog to us.

Huey Duck |
 Hello,
I just wanted to give you an update on Huey and how he has been
since he came to live with us on April 13th. ....We are so totally happy to
have Huey as part of our family. He is very sweet and playful. As
he grows with our family his personality grows as well. As you
probably know, he was brought to the shelter with his two brothers and
the staff there named them Huey Duey and Luey Duck and although we considered changing
his name, we loved the story of how he got his name so much, we kept
it.)
He's very quirky but we love him to death. We will keep in touch and surely see you soon. see more pics below!
