 Hello Baypath -Just wanted to check in with everyone to let you know how our little Jayleigh [once Polly Pocket/Pumpkin] is doing! As you can see, she has settled in with her new sister just fine and they play play play all day (Jayleigh is the tortoiseshell). Cont. below....
When we first
brought her home in April '08, she was quite nervous and shy and hissed
at our other kitten, Elliette. She had been an 'only cat' with her
previous owners, so we expected it would take a little time for her to
settle in, even though both cats were quite young. We didn't know what
to name her at first - we just called her Green Eyes because of her
startling jade eyes - but it soon became apparent: every time we came
to visit her in her 'safe room' she would greet us with bird-like
twirrs and chirps. After a little hunting I found the perfect name -
Jayleigh - which means songbird. She's quite the little girl but very
playful and after just a couple weeks of careful introduction, she and
Elliette started to get along. They are inseparable since, and you will
rarely find one without the other.
