Bosco is featured in our Fall Newsletter!
On
August 31st 2007, my fiancé Natalie and I adopted Bosco.
He was the perfect addition to our busy lifestyle, and we fell in love
with him the day we brought him home. con't reading about Bosco and see more pics below!
Bosco loves lying or sitting
on us any chance he gets, whether it’s in the living room, outside
by our weekend bonfires with friends, or even on a kitchen chair. Bosco
now weighs 65 pounds, in no way, shape or form is he over weight, but
he is certainly not a lap dog. We trained Bosco fairly well to be off
leash, therefore, he enjoys sprinting after balls and running and hiking
through the woods behind the house. In the woods, Bosco likes to show
off his speed and agility by running ahead of us hurtling fallen trees
and brooks, although he always comes eagerly sprinting back when we
call him.
Most
of all Bosco loves going for rides in the car. When the weather
is nice, Bosco comes to work with me at the gym. He lies outside on
the deck and greets the members of the gym as they arrive; they have
all grown to love him. Other than home, the gym is Bosco’s favorite
place to be. If he sees me leaving the house with my gym bag,
there is no way of getting out the door without him! In my downtime
at the gym, I like to go fishing in the nearby lake, and Bosco is right
there with me jumping into the lake with every cast.
We
could go one for pages about how much we adore our dog! He is the most
affectionate dog we have both ever met. Therefore, we would like
to thank all of the people at the Baypath Humane Society for giving
us such a wonderful gift. Bosco has showed us that an expensive pure
bred dog will never be the choice for us. We will continue to
adopt dogs who need homes for the rest of our lives.
