 Hello! Just wanted to pass on an update on our adorable Fritz. We are all in love with this little guy and the feeling seems to be mutual. Fritz is a wonderful little guy who is really settling into the family wonderfully. He loves belly rubs, running in the snow (and catching snow that falls from the trees!), sleeping next to me while I write on the computer, and greeting our son Nick when he gets home from school. Story and more pics below!
We are working on not standing on tables (although very funny, it's not really allowed...), not chewing everything in sight, and not terrorizing the kitties. Fritz is very friendly and interested in the cats, but can't understand why he can't pat them! Things are coming together, though, so we feel sure that all the creatures will work things out. He is so friendly with all the kids in the neighborhood and gets so happy when we come upon a group of children
. He has even learned to play a game where I hide a carrot under a plastic cup and he knocks it over. Fritz looks so pleased with himself when he finds that carrot! We've started clicker training at home and our Fritz is a smart little boy! We are going to our first obedience class tonight at a great center nearby and I think he is going to enjoy himself! We were heartbroken when our fifteen-year-old dog died in November and Fritz is really helping us get through the long grieving process. He's really found a special spot in our hearts and we will always be grateful to Baypath for bringing Fritz into our lives. Many thanks, Jessica  |
