I just wanted to let you know that
Chocolate is doing great and is fitting in extremely well. She enjoys
the other dogs and sleeps with them. She really enjoys the big yard
and runs all around very happy......
I think having the other dogs has
calmed her seperation anxiety down quite abit. We did
crate her at first for a few day but she was a maniac and did not seem
to like it at all. Slowly we left her out with the other dogs for
short periods of time and it went very well. A couple weeks ago I had
to teach a morning class and we left her with the other dogs for about
4 hours. When I came home I was able to enter the door without all 3
of them jumping on me. Turns out Winston and Chocolate were sleeping
on the downstairs bed together. Nothing was torn apart and the house
was in one piece. Chocolate chews on her nylabones and nothing else.
Her favorite place is the downstairs bed with Winston when we are
gone. At night she snuggles on our bed with her new pals Winston and
Buster.
She is also great with the kids. They
constantly give her love and snuggle next to her. She fits in very
well with our family and now has a permanent home to play in.
We will keep in touch. I am attaching some photos for you to look at.
