 Hi all at Baypath,
It's been just over two weeks since my husband Eliot & I adopted Hogan & Dundee, and they're settling in to our home very well. We wanted to thank you all so much for the care you took of these two puppies while they were with you, and your help in our adopting them. They are the sweetest dogs, and although they are new to living in a house (stairs, and th
eir own reflections in glass windows, among other things, were interesting experiences for the first couple of days!), it's clear they aren't new to being loved by people. They have so quickly become part of the family, and are having a blast now in their new......

home. They love running and playing like maniacs with each other on the deck, which is now a big puppy pen, and long walks around the yard & neighborhood. Soon they will be
able to play without leashes in the fenced yard, once we're confident
they've learned to come when called. (We learned the hard way when
Hogan got a bit scared and balked at climbing the deck stairs to return
to the house and slipped his collar the first night, that two people
trying tocatch an intelligent puppy in a large yard is unbelievably difficult!)
After wearing each other out playing, Hogan curls up on the carpet, and
Dundee loves to stretch out on the couch - for a few minutes anyway
unti
l the puppy games begin again. They're goofy but adorable, and very
affectionate with each other and Eliot and me. Dundee is still very
happy-go-lucky, while shy Hogan is more sedate, but has come out of his
shell so much in just the 2 weeks they've been here. We're so happy to
have them both as part of the family, and I think they really love
theirnew home,too.
Thank you again,
Laura
